Global Innovative Solutions Teams is a new faith based nonprofit dedicated to increasing reforestation, providing adequate water for all, decreasing particle pollution, and helping our communities focus on each other's strengths. We do the work of using evidenced-based solutions to address all of these issues.

Trillion New Trees (TNT)

Our Trillion New Trees Initiative will augment current global reforestation efforts to reach this goal. We will do this by helping expand villagers’ participation globally combined with an exciting new concept to expand trained American volunteers to work alongside the villagers and local foresters to increase reforestation efforts.

Wealth of Water (WOW)

50% more fresh water will be needed globally by the year 2050. Wells are already drying up in many locations, including the USA. Long term solutions are needed now. They already exist! WOW Initiative will act as a spark that ignites the world to think of fresh water as an abundant resource instead of a finite one!

Cleaner Air

Stop Our Soot (SOS)

Various scientific studies have concluded that soot from incomplete burning of fossil fuels and wood is the second biggest contribution to the melting of global glaciers and Arctic ice, as well as a major contributor to respiratory problems. Our partial solution – the SOS Initiative will become a dynamic catalyst in reducing global soot emissions 50% by the year 2040.

Locally Inspired Service Teams Encouragement Network (LISTEN)

Locally Inspired Service Teams Encouragement Network (LISTEN) will tackle the crisis of lack of meaningful dialogue between competing societal goals facing our families, friends, communities, and nation. LISTEN will help local teams identify local problems, team members’ strengths, and arrive at local solutions built upon their teamwork.

How You Can Help

Typically, a project of this scope will have “angel” donors providing the startup capital. We have made the decision to take the start-up funding opportunity to as many people as possible. Your support, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated.

This support will allow us to hire key employees, firm up relations with existing partners and build our infrastructure. It will also be an asset to encourage additional “fans” from corporations, foundations, churches, and civic groups.

GIST Start-Up Donors’ Hall of Fame

GIST has chosen to use terms associated with baseball – the USA national pastime.

Pre-Startup Donors' Hall of Fame recognizes first donors stepping to the plate prior to our official launch.

First nine donors (starting line-up) in each category listed numerically, remaining donors listed alphabetically.

Donors in the Start-Up Hall of Fame will be recognized permanently on our GIST website (pdf file links).
Donors may choose to be listed by name or anonymously.

GIST will also develop an appropriate display of donors for our future corporate headquarters.

Scouts are volunteers securing GIST donations ($500+ cumulative - including personal) by 31 Dec 2028

Goal: $30 million to cover 3 years' operational expenses.

Additional funds will acquire land and Headquarters campus.

Money raised beyond these needs will be used for a reserve fund.
